Our Story
Our journey began over 15 years ago when the Lord laid upon his servant Pastor Fola’s heart- a medical doctor, to establish a church where people will learn how to excel in life and ministry. Prior to that, Pastor Fola and his family used to attend Jesus House, Chicago which is a branch of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). RCCG is one of the fastest-growing churches in the world which churches in 192 countries and has more than 800 church branches in the US alone. Pastor Fola and his family drove to Chicago every Sunday to attend a church which is a journey of close to 3 hours. Thus, they started the church in their living room as a family and the Lord added to the church daily. Today, the little seed of yesterday has become a mighty tree giving shade to hundreds of students, career men, and women, and professionals where destinies are being shaped, visions are birthed and lives are greatly blessed and transformed.
Our Belief
We believe in God who is the creator and ruler of the universe. Jesus is the son of God and he lived a sinless life thereby offering himself for the redemption of mankind. Besides, we believe the Holy Spirit is equal to God the Father and Jesus. He lives in every Christian and guides us. Furthermore, we believe that salvation is a gift from God to man and it only comes through Jesus Christ. Moreover, we believe in eternity and eternal security. We believe every human being can determine their eternal destiny by surrendering their lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We believe eternal life is for those who have surrendered their lives to Jesus while eternal damnation is meant for those who refuse to do so. We believe also that the Holy Bible is God’s word to all men and is our final authority. We believe in marriage, diligence, giving, helping the poor, divine direction, and excellence.
